Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Delhi to Mandawa

You will be picked up from your Delhi hotel and then leave for Shekhawati town Mandawa. Approx 6 hrs drive. Check in to the luxury heritage resort , relax and enjoy the lunch. Proceed to a walking tour of the town to see some of its famous 100 year old frescoed “havelis” (mansions). Come back to resort by evening. Evening at leisure with bonfire, snacks and dinner.

Day 2 - Mandawa & Around

Day 2 will start with a day excursion to Nawalgarh and Laxmangarh towns – the towns having some of the best frescoes and largest havelis. Explore these towns and also enjoy a traditional rajasthani lunch in a village. Come back to hotel by evening. Evening will be alive with campfire and folk music.

Day 3 - Bikaner

After an early breakfast leave for Bikaner the camel city. It will be a 3 hr drive. Check in to the heritage hotel and relax. Later visit the well-preserved Junagarh Fort. Visit to the unique camel – breeding farm afterwards. Come back to hotel by evening. Evening at leisure.

Day 4 - Khimsar

After an early breakfast leave for Khimsar –  a remote village inhabited by Bishnoi community. It will be a 3 hrs drive. Check in to the heritage hotel inside Khimsar fort which is exceptional for its character and ambience. Take an excursion to villages of Bishnoi community and watch their unique desert life, so close to the nature. Back in the fort by evening, day left free for leisure.

Day 5 - Nagaur

After breakfast leave for Nagaur. After a short drive of around 2 hrs through rustic countryside, reach Nagaur and stay in the Palatial tents tastefully spread in the old fort. The day and evening here will be spent enjoying colorful cultural performances and barbeque in royal style. 

Day 6 - Kuchaman

Reach the hill top fort of Kuchaman after a short 2 hrs drive from Nagaur, which has been recently converted into a hotel having all feasible luxuries. Visit the brines of the famous Sambhar lake or take an excursion to the Sambhar town. This largest salt-water lake of India attracts a variety of migratory birds including the large flocks of flamingoes. Rest of the day at leisure

Day 7 - Rupangarh

After a short 1 hr drive from Kuchaman we will today reach the charming Rupangrah fort. Check in, enjoy breakfast and relax. The area is quite famous for the artists’ hamlets of Kishangarh miniature paintings. Also visit the Tilonia village – a village that produces a number of arts and crafts through a cooperative movement. Rest of the day at leisure

Day 8 - Pushkar

After breakfast drive ( 2 hr) to Pushkar and check in to the heritage hotel. At this holiest city of Rajasthan, you may also take a walk on the street around the sacred pond and ghats upto Brahma temple. Pushkar is best explored by a walk around the lake.

Day 9 - Jaipur

Check out from Pushkar and reach Jaipur after a 3 hr drive, take a full day excursion to Jaipur and visit the famous City Palace and Amber Fort as notable attractions. Option of shopping in the busy bazaars. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 - Departure

Check out and leave for Delhi by 12 PM. The tour ends.
